Lackluster Land is a fictional, satirical, theme park. In this theme park, instead of exciting rides, there are very boring ones; instead of being surprised by the long queues, Lackluster Land advertises how long the queues will be! Instead of multiple bumper cars, you can hop on the singular, bumper car. Lackluster Land is a place where dreams go to die.
Even though the goal of the Lackluster Land video was to try to make the most boring place ever come to life in a funny way, it was also a chance to try some motion design. It was my first time editing type within the video, instead of making individual posters and then making those posters move. The video had hand drawn pictures that I scanned into my laptop and a playful type that I overlaid on top of it.
